Buddhism
Buddhism is a spiritual and philosophical path founded by Siddhartha Gautama, known as the Buddha, in India in the 6th century BCE. It teaches that lasting happiness and freedom from suffering come through understanding the nature of the mind, overcoming desires and attachments, and practicing compassion and wisdom.
Buddhism is a philosophy, spirituality or religion that appeared in India in the 5th century BC. Today it has between 250 and 600 million followers.
