Divinatory Tarot - minor arcana

The Tarot is a mirror of the soul and a sacred book to be leafed through in inner silence.
The 56 Minor Arcana, true universal archetypes, form a symbolic panorama of the journey of Being through existence.

The Journey of the Minor Arcana

They are divided into 4 suits of 14 cards:

WANDS

Represent the active or masculine principle that sets things in motion and symbolizes the initiative of action. They primarily relate to the world of work, plans and projects, and movement.

CUPS

Represent the passive or feminine principle that allows for germination and symbolizes the driving force, the underlying passion of action. They primarily relate to the heart, feelings, and intuition.

SWORDS

Represent the union of active and passive principles and symbolize the constructive struggle to achieve action. They refer to the transformative power of thought and communication.

PENTICESHIPS

Represent the product of the union of active and passive principles and symbolize the result of action. They refer to the material world, the comfort and stability of the home, and financial matters.

In each suit there is:

A - The Court Figures

  • The KINGS
  • The QUEENS
  • The KNIGHTS
  • The JACKS

B - The Points

  • AS
  • TWO
  • THREE
  • FOUR
  • FIVE
  • SIX
  • SEVEN
  • EIGHT
  • NINE
  • TEN

Each card is an initiatory gateway, a step on the path to consciousness.

Thus unfolds an initiatory journey, a great spiral connecting the earthly to the celestial.

Can you draw the cards for yourself?

The question transcends time and schools of Tarot: yes, it is possible to read the cards yourself, but it requires profound sincerity and clarity.

The benefits: Reading the cards yourself allows you to dialogue with your unconscious, receive inner insights, and meditate on your own archetypes.

The risks: Emotional attachment can cloud the reading. We often project our desires or fears onto the cards, instead of hearing their pure message.

The key: Approach the reading as a meditative practice, asking open-ended questions, and not as a rigid prediction. The Tarot does not impose a destiny; it reveals a path.

To interpret your Minor Arcana, this is the place.
