The Lecher antenna* is a dowsing “wand” that was created in the 1990s.

There are several shapes and sizes, but all are based on the same physical principle: that of the son of Lecher (or line of Lecher).

The Lecher antenna remains a dowsing device, so it cannot do anything without someone holding it in hand.
“The pendulum turns by itself!”, no, the dowser’s hand moves and causes the movement of the pendulum. It is the same with the Lecher antenna, it moves/vibrates vertically because the dowser’s hands hold it.

Same name as the physicist Ernst Lecher who discovered the Lecher son principle.

As indicated in the definition, the Lecher antenna is based on the principle of Lecher wires to explain its operation.

Here is a short text from the brochure sold with the antenna, which attempts to explain the principle.

It highlights the sinusoidal path of the electric current with voltage antinodes and intensity nodes.

Any metallic conductor in space constitutes an antenna which captures and re-transmits at least half of what it captures.
The Lecher antenna corresponds to a line closed at one of its ends.

The position of the cursor will give a specific indication:

in quarter wave (pi/4) = parallel (or open) resonant circuit.
half-wave (pi/2) = series resonant circuit (or short circuit).

With a Gigahertz generator, emitting in centimeter waves, the correspondence on the Lecher antenna can be verified.
The centimeter scale of the antenna also makes it possible to appreciate harmonies with biological resonance in the electromagnetic spectrum.
