Self-Awareness is a state of consciousness that is not naturally present in us. It must be created by ourselves. It comes from a specific and intentional development of the emotional function.
This does not require difficult work or suffering in fact, suffering is a barrier and an obstacle: the more self-awareness one has, the less one will suffer and vice versa.
On the other hand, it should be noted that good and intense feelings experienced mechanically can overwhelm us and thereby produce distress and undeniably altered behavior. Therefore, do not try to achieve ecstasies but rather follow a gradual process, in small doses that we can integrate comfortably.
Here the keys are intention and regulation assembled in a clear understanding of our goals and opposed to mechanical events.
1.1. The means of creating this state of consciousness which includes self-love, self-memory and growing self-identity, depend on a simple but judicious operation, a "spiritual exercise" practiced over the centuries in some monastic communities. .
Systems for evaluating this and other processes have existed since time immemorial, popularized in myths and stories, these are the "trials" and "perils" faced by legendary figures in the quest for an always allegorical and significant.
However, at present, each individual can rely, albeit cautiously, on their internal records and a simple method of auxiliary evaluation.
1.2. The Optimal Conduit Square, much more than being the reference for a more developed consciousness, can serve us as a parameter and/or mirror to control our progress, our choices and our available energy. There is no need to stupidly try to reproduce it, understanding it and keeping it “in sight” is enough. It has nothing to do with ever-changing moral values. It is an evaluation system that is both technical and ethical.
1.3. Contemplation is an act of consciousness. Frequently reiterated and correctly directed, it has become an act of creation and a work of art since ancient times, it has thus been described "ars parva", "are amandi" or "Minor Poetics". It requires nothing but one raw material: Love.
Two forms of Contemplation are prescribed which, with time and experimentation, come together to become one.
1.4. Contemplation usually begins with a ’gentle’ form whose intention is the construction of emotional energies and the provision of adequate registers. It contributes to producing a different perspective of our environment and can free us from our vulnerability.
a) - It is accomplished with good and pleasant dispositions or feelings of external origin and in the following way:
FEEL WHAT YOU ARE FEELING.
This is not an intellectual observation but you can still use your intellect to select the type of emotion you are contemplating in your home. This gentle form should only take more than a minute each time. It is not its extension over time that matters but its multiplicity of sources and its reiteration. This places and generates something inside us which undoubtedly was not there before.
Other than that, this soft form has no other limits or restrictions. This practice must not, however, interfere with other types of ordinary feelings and relationships, which must not be degraded by unfair comparisons.
b) - the “deep” form of Contemplation is independent of external triggers. Technically speaking, it is the reordering of the raw material produced by the soft form, it is the subsequent refinement: A kind of metabolic effect by which a richer and more refined sensitivity emerges.
This is the "prima distillatio" of the Alchemists, their Sulfur, that is to say the human soul. Whenever, therefore, you feel prepared for this, seek the correct environmental conditions, sit quietly and comfortably and INVENT, COMPOSE, FORGE a feeling of Love; hold it for about a minute (no more than two minutes) each time.
Feel, intensely, what you are screaming, immerse yourself in this wave of Love and abandon yourself. Live this moment!
Don’t think about it or analyze it. Don’t make an image of it, but more than anything, SAVOR IT, let it be your Love, free and independent of external conditions.
Understand that if you have any chance of being, it is when you feel like yourself; and that in fact, you say what you feel then.
Contemplate freely, without compulsion or preconceived program.
Apply the gentle form whenever you are in a good mood but with common sense, without representation or interference with your daily activities. With experience and time, you will be able to do this without distracting yourself from your present occupation.
The deep form is practiced more discreetly. Its frequency is usually 1/10, that is to say approximately once every ten forms of Gentle Contemplation.
Finally, note that for any feeling that we contemplate (soft form), once we have received a given stimulus and responded emotionally to it (music, nature, friends, good news, etc.), the importance is to be placed on the feeling and not on the object evoked. Therefore, let’s hold the feeling and forget the trigger.
In these contexts and remarks, the whole world with its infinite circumstances, is seen as a pretext or a tool to shout good feelings which, in turn, represent the circumstantial environments to create another mental state and perhaps another world . One piece of advice, however: the only exception to what has just been said is our spouse who should not be “disconnected” or treated like an ordinary trigger.
Clearly, this person being the one with whom we created bonds and decided to develop ourselves and share our lives, it would be desirable to strengthen this relationship. Unless, of course, one is aware of only having a temporary relationship which does not require any particular form of consolidation.
Couples who have truly chosen to share their lives and their possibilities for development together and with some experience in this art, can use each other mutually (by mutual agreement) as a source of good feelings ( soft form) and Love (deep form).
2. ABOUT PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.
Personal Development assists and complements the Essential experience to the extent that it requires the participation of other aspects or functions of our psychological form: it redirects and reorganizes our entire Personality.
Ignorance, confusion and contradictions create instability, fear and suffering; such conditions undermine our best development efforts.
A clear understanding of the ways in which our Personality confronts daily life can lead us to break out of repetitive, imprisoning cycles and align our creative forces in accordance with defined designs and goals. Furthermore, Personal Development is an experience of Reconciliation with oneself, as it reduces the distance between "being" and "living"; thus putting an end to the common contradiction of internal division, rarely or indistinctly perceived.
2.1. The imprisonment of the Reactive-Response clearly demonstrates the state of the human condition. To come out of this, a bold revision of the personal situation is a matter of the greatest importance.
Although occasional discomfort may be experienced throughout this procedure, it is only a transient occurrence due to re-accommodations of the geometry from previous conditions, followed closely by relief when the spot has been removed. accomplished successfully.
Personal Development therefore proves to be of great importance, not only to change our vital condition, but also because it leads to a "state of coincidence" between our most internal needs and our natural desires, allowing in its time the formation of ’a Unified Field of Consciousness, of which the best description that can be given is that it is a kind of marriage contract with ourselves.
The key tool of these achievements belongs to the same traditional experience, it has a double action:
2.2. Despite multiple definitions and varieties of practices, Meditation - in our context and purposes - can be translated as: "placing oneself in the middle of conditions".
Meditation is an act of personal honesty, an impartial perception of the circumstances (material and psychological) that surround us; it is also an act of presence in the world. The dual recognition of present and future times as an integral part of our lives, is the best possible link with our Essential Consciousness and is the best indication of coherence and convergence between Essence and Personality. However, because Meditation redefines our personal lives, it is also a tool for action.
2.3. Meditation begins with a "hard" form directed towards our present situation, exploring, evaluating and defining all kinds of conditions which may have some bearing in the configuration of the true "substratum" of our current existence. It is not an exercise in analytical psychology nor a pursuit of cathartic thrills:
A - As with Contemplation, the "hard" phase of Meditation is an intimate and private task which would not allow any form of psychological promiscuity, exhibitionism or manipulation by others.
Thus everyone observes the current state of his or her affairs as he or she perceives them with complete impartiality. In other words, it is an honest account of one’s present situation, which includes positive elements - achievements - and negative elements - failures.
These findings are carefully classified and recorded; soon a clear picture will emerge through the necessary revisions and refinements.
B - The "gentle" form of Meditation deals with the transformation of unwanted findings and the acquisition of other subjects of personal interest. But its main purpose is the construction of the future, a future which requires a clear and clear definition. In secular life, with the exception of certain couples with common projects, these definitions are also understood individually and privately.
These definitions, in the form of goals and designs are, here too, carefully recorded and reviewed until a clear picture emerges.
The experience of Meditation then consists of regularly becoming aware of the subjects encountered in the "hard form" and contrasting them with those defined in the "soft" form, which represents their evolution. Awareness of the difference between the present state of some particular theme and the goal which corresponds to it, produces
Indeed a force of Tension capable, in principle, of leading us to the chosen objectives. We say "in principle" because beyond that must be completed with the following:
2.4. In this line of Tradition, we observe that with the objective of giving cohesion to this experience, we must take some priority measures.
These measures are called DECLARATIONS. These act as a lever, effecting the transition from one mental form to another, repositioning the individual and taking them out of the response-reactive cycle. Only then can we creatively use this new energy and give permanence to our achievements.
In fact, the Statements are the healthy core and root from which Meditation and Contemplation draw their lifeblood.
They are called "the clear waters emanating from the Source of Life."
They are of two types:
a - ESSENTIAL COMMITMENTS are intimate Declarations, individually chosen and freely held. The Essential Commitments are equal to the secret values professed for Initiation into the Orders of chivalry and religion, during which the candidate defines himself with what he supports. Through these Commitments, a person creates the Real Foundations and Conditions for his future developments. In fact, these Commitments are forms of recognition and postulates of what a real human title is.
So, especially in the above context, it may seem paradoxical that one of the fundamental implications of this line of experience, is the acceptance of individual responsibility for one’s own life and circumstances.
As an example, we can propose the following Commitment:
BE THE CREATIVE FORCE IN MY LIFE.
We can clearly see here an act of acceptance as well as determination and intention. In other circumstances, this type of Commitment is known under the term: "By incorporating God, we thus give him a place on Earth".
Other suggestions for Engagements may be:
– BE HONEST WITH MYSELF.
– BE HEALTHY.
– BE FREE.
This is not a project or objective to be placed vaguely in the future. It is a declaration of who one is from the moment one makes such a Commitment. In due time, as it increases in understanding and subtlety, the Commitment will take on a greater and deeper influence in our lives. To the individual, any deviation from the meaning of the Commitment will be automatically obvious. Regular meditation on one’s own commitments is strongly recommended.
In this regard, any Commitment must be put in writing. This regular Meditation is another form of strengthening the links between the Essence and the Personality.
b - Personal Promises are also Declarations. In the course of redirecting our lives, these Promises are the major personal goals that we aim to achieve. Although they may initially be seen as ends in themselves, they may later be overtaken by additional goals... However, the important thing is to recognize these Promises for what they now represent, and not as steps towards other goals. A Personal Promise is a definition of what one wants, without looking at the means of obtaining it and only when one is prepared to accept it totally and immediately. -here.
Summary of the proposed experience
General observations
1. To answer the question about human "mechanism", one must carefully observe NATURE, this is where the understanding comes from that ALL organisms living on Earth are biological machines with physical intentions, psychological and metaphysical.
2. The general lack of human "Consciousness" is mainly due to Essential underdevelopment and the absence of clear personal goals. These are sociological deficiencies, not “transcendental.”
3. It is commonly found in esoteric teachings that although the psychological model offered may be in some way acceptable, the presentation and location of the "higher levels", most of the time, are not. not.
These facts lead to confusion and prevent real progress. Practices that might be appropriate (or adequate) for a particular function are recommended for other functions, which will not necessarily respond to such manipulation.
4. Internal development is a possibility open to ALL but it requires recognition of the “Raw Material”. Here too, Natural Selection is a natural operation.
A FRIENDLY ADVICE:
One of the differences between this experience and others is that it does not require to be communicated or reproduced on others.
It is actually recommended not to do this.
This must be a living experience and not a rigid and fixed system of beliefs, reinforced by successive repetitions, through which the person involved can do nothing other than convince himself that he has already obtained what he is looking for. .
This kind of illusion is unfortunately found among enthusiasts and "instructors", in many schools and so-called "development" groups.
Instead, let us apply and live the proposed Experience, allowing it to produce the Essential push and personal changes discussed in this Seminar, as we ourselves have decided.
Only then and with just motives will we be prepared to assist others in the same quest.
